"Tunnel Engineering and Underground Spaces" is a scientific publication on topics related to tunnels and underground structures. This publication was founded with the joint cooperation of Shahrood University of Technology and Iran Tunnel Association and is published as a quarterly printed and electronic magazine. In this publication, an attempt is made to reflect the results of fundamental, developmental, applied, and valuable researches for all types of underground structures, including power plant structures, transportation tunnels, water transfer tunnels, urban tunnels, hydrocarbon storage caves, defense structures, and mining spaces. In order to achieve the goals of the publication, all thinkers and researchers active in the aforementioned fields are invited to share their innovative and valuable scientific and research achievements with other specialists and experts through this publication and play a valuable role in the development of the tunneling industry and underground spaces of the country
